Three alerts. One checkout failure.

FlowTux is the queue for Slack, Sentry, and GitHub. The same incident arrives in three vocabularies. The product keeps one ticket, and it does not close the work a person has to own.

A dedupe trace for one checkout outage

This is the shape of the record, using a checkout failure as the example. Your service names will differ. The rule does not: collapse only when it is the same underlying issue.

What each source contributes to the single ticket
SourceWhat arrivedWhat the ticket keeps
SentryNullPointerException at CheckoutService.java:142, repeated across hundreds of events in the same window.Exception, top of the stack, service, and the count. The repeated events do not become repeated tickets.
Slack, #customer-issues“Customer says checkout returns 500 on debit cards.”The wording, the channel, and the thread. It is linked to the open checkout failure instead of opening a second ticket.
GitHubIssue: payment flow fails on Safari. The issue URL and title. If it is the same failure, it is linked. If it is a different bug, it stays its own ticket. A false merge hides a real bug.

The output is one ticket, tagged to the payments on-call, with the Sentry stack, the Slack thread, and the GitHub link on it. The Slack thread gets the ticket back when that connection is on. Access changes, production deploys, and anything the team has not already fixed the same way stay human.

The storm is one incident

Hundreds of Sentry events with unstable messages still describe one cause. Fingerprinting on the exception text alone splits them.

The human report joins it

Three people saying checkout is broken, in different words, are the same incident as the error tracker behind them.

GitHub stays linked

The issue is not retyped. If it is a different bug, it is left alone. Wrong merges are worse than a duplicate.

Jira can remain the desk

Escalation opens the Jira issue. FlowTux does not require you to migrate the service desk on day one.

What the on-call lead asks

Does every Sentry event become a ticket?
No. Events that describe the same failure are collapsed. Exact text matching is not enough, because the same outage shows up as a timeout in one service and a null reference in another. The merge prefers a missed duplicate over a wrong merge.
What does the Slack thread receive?
When Slack is connected, the thread is tied to the ticket. Status can be posted back there. The thread does not stay a second queue with its own owner.
Will it close an access request or a production deploy?
Those stay with a person. Autonomous action is an allow-list: reversible, small blast radius, verifiable, and a fix the team has already done. Anything else is triaged and handed over with the diagnosis attached.
Do we have to leave Jira?
No. Jira can stay the engineering record. FlowTux is the intake from Slack, Sentry, and GitHub. Escalation creates the Jira issue and status flows back. The workspace price does not grow with seats. The figure published on the Mecverse product page is $99 a month for up to 50 members. Confirm the current tier on FlowTux before you budget.

Connect one source first

Slack or Sentry. Watch what collapses. Add GitHub after the first queue is something the team trusts. FlowTux is in guided evaluation.
